I’m a veterans that has completed the VA CHAPTER 31 (Vocational Rehabilitation Program) with an Associates of Science in Network Administration and a Bachelors of Science in Information Systems Technology and working on a Master of Science in Management of Information Systems Technology. I have applied for several Information Technology Specialist position at the Amarillo VA in Amarillo Texas only to be told I am not qualified. There has been multiples selectees over me and none of them had no previous IT background, not mention never done anything in the IT field. They all are being grand fathered into the IT positions. Whereas highly qualified disabled veterans like myself is been over looked.
